Our Curriculum
At The English School, we recognize that the curriculum is essential to our mission of providing students with a well-rounded education. It encompasses a planned program of study designed to meet the learning needs and goals of our students.
The term "curriculum" originates from the Latin word for "race." While education is not a competition, we acknowledge that students are in a race to acquire knowledge and skills within a limited timeframe. We believe that every student has the potential to succeed and reach their fullest potential.
Developing a curriculum is a complex process that requires balancing multiple demands and constraints, including the needs of our school community, societal expectations, workforce requirements, financial and staffing resources, and time. Our curriculum is continually evolving to meet the changing needs of students and society.
To keep our curriculum relevant and effective, we have a Curriculum Committee made up of senior and experienced educators. This committee is responsible for regularly reviewing and refining our curriculum to ensure it aligns with our values, mission, and educational goals. Our commitment is to provide a high-quality education that equips students for future success.
