Founder's Day Prize Criteria

The Modern Languages Department has been allocated a global number of 15 prizes according to the number of pupils taught in the Department.
The following policy has been agreed:

3 prizes will be allocated to each year group
The prizes will be allocated for academic excellence
For years 2, 3, 4, the prizes will be allocated to the three pupils in each year with the highest end-of-year exam results
For years 5 and 6, the prizes will be allocated to the pupils in each year with the highest GCSE/GCE exam results
2 prizes will be allocated for Spanish
No prizes will be allocated to 7^thFormers
Prizes will be in the form of book tokens which will be awarded during the Founder's Day Prize Giving Ceremony
