Special Prizes
The “George Hadjigeorgiou Prize” The “George Hadjigeorgiou Prize” is given by ESSA to the student who scored the highest result in the Mathematics entrance exam in memory of our colleague George Hadjigeorgiou, who passed away suddenly in 2018.
Year 1: The ‘George Hadjigeorgiou Prize’ is awarded to the student with the highest score in the entrance examinations in Mathematics.
Years 2, 3, and 4: Prizes are awarded to high achievers in the end-of-year examination results.
Year 5: Prizes awarded to students who achieve the highest total score in the IGCSE Mathematics examination.
Year 6: Prizes awarded to students who achieve the highest score in the International AL Pure Mathematics 1 Mock examination.
Year 7: Prizes awarded to students to achieve the highest score in:
International AS-level Mathematics
International AS-level Further Mathematics
