Founder's Day Prize Criteria
Founders Day prizes are awarded to our highest achievers for outstanding performance in the subject for the previous academic year. It is a recognition of hard work and achievement.
These prizes are highly contested and therefore there is a whole departmental decision based on the criteria.
Criteria used for student nominations are as follows:
Lower School D&T
Y1 - Current Year 2- Students obtaining highest total score throughout the year
For an overall excellent performance in all aspects of the Design & Technology Course at Foundation Level
Y2 - Current Year 3- Students obtaining highest total score throughout the year
For an overall excellent performance in all aspects of the Design & Technology Course at Foundation Level
Y3 - Current Year 4- Students obtaining highest total score throughout the year including end-of year examination
For an overall excellent performance in all aspects of the Design & Technology Course at Foundation Level
Middle & Upper School D&T
Y4 - Current Year 5- Students obtaining highest scores in the End-of-Year 4
Y5 - Current Year 6- Students obtaining highest UMS scores in the Pearson IGCSE examination results
For an overall excellent performance in all aspects of the Design & Technology course at GCSE Level.
Y6 - Current Year 7- Students obtaining highest UMS scores in the Cambridge AS examination results
For an overall excellent performance in all aspects of the Design & Technology course at AS Level.
