Trips

AIMS  The aim of field trips is to help students to relate what they learn in class to the actual world . Fieldtrips are used to examine the physical/human environments;how man manages or mismanages the world he lives in . Students are helped to learn how to identify areas of study, to observe/identify/understand issues and problems and proceed with setting up an investigation design plan. Fieldtrips enable students to develop the skills of setting up a hypothesis, collect data,analyse/present/interpret these, and finally evaluate and draw conclusions. Above all students learn to work as part of a team. A written report is submitted at the end of each study. The fiedwork experience in the lower classes builds up essential skills and relieves the pressure at higher levels.
