Curriculum

IGCSE

The Edexcel IGCSE in Chemistry (4CH1) is followed.
This 2 year course is completed in the Fifth Form, at the end of which the students take the exam which consists of 2 externally-assessed written papers, 4CH1/1C and 4CH1/2C.

A-Level

The Sixth Form follows the Edexcel AS/A level course (8CH0).
This consists of 2 written papers which are examined at the end of the year, combined with teacher-assessed practical competency during the year. This leads to a stand-alone AS qualification.
The Seventh Form follows the Edexcel Advanced GCE in Chemistry (9CH0).
This consists of 3 written papers which are examined at the end of the year, combined with teacher-assessed practical competency during the year.
