Huseyin Erguven, a graduate of The English School (Class of 2009), pursued a career in law, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Reading. He went on to further his legal studies at City University London, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Bar Practice and being called to the Bar of England and Wales at Gray’s Inn. Additionally, he holds an LL.M. in Professional Legal Skills. Beyond his legal qualifications, Huseyin also earned a Ph.D. in International Relations.

His legal career spanned multiple jurisdictions, during which he was registered as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Cyprus and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. He has held various legal roles, including advisory positions in banking, finance, and civil law. He also worked at a leading Big Four firm, gaining significant experience in regulatory and financial advisory matters, and holds an Advanced Certificate from CySEC.

Currently, Huseyin works as a researcher at an NGO, focusing on community development and peacebuilding initiatives. While he is no longer in active legal practice, his expertise continues to support research and policy work in his field. Huseyin is married and a father of a young son.
