Tasos Kiteou is a holder of a BSc in Information Technology from the Philips University in Cyprus followed by an MSc in Information Technology from Keele University in the United Kingdom. He completed his studies in 1998 and worked at the private sector for LK Globalsoft and Profile S.A. Greece where he was in charge of implementing customized Financial and Stock Market Software for Brokerage Houses. 

He joined the public service in 2003 where he serves as an IT officer up today at the Department of Information Technology Services of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy. During his presence he worked for the implementation of several European projects for the TAX Department, the Customs and Excise, the Funding Programmes of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and the VIS Information System for crossing points of Schengen States of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Two of his children study at the English School. He was appointed as a member of The English School Board of Management in February 2024.
