The five Biology laboratories are situated in the Science Building; they are served by adjoining prep rooms and storage rooms. The labs are fully equipped for Lower School Science to IGCSE and A-level practical work, as well as with computer and audio-visual aids. The Biology staff room has computing facilities for staff. Display boards inside and outside the labs are used for displaying students’ work as well as notices. Level-based, student-centred worksheets are used throughout teaching in conjunction with biological models and student-prepared projects. Within the school library, there is a specialist section for Biology from which students can borrow books. In addition, each lab is equipped with a periodical library.
