Special Olympics Day Floorball Matches
In addition to our own students, the tournament featured teams from the School for the Deaf and the Christos Stelios Ioannou Foundation, all coming together to showcase the values of equality and inclusivity through the exciting sport of Floorball.

4 Jade Assembly- Poverty
During the assembly, the students thoroughly explained what poverty is and outlined the various types of poverty that exist. They also highlighted the work of international NGOs that are dedicated to eliminating poverty around the world.
At the end of the assembly, the students concluded with a festive Christmas song, reminding their audience that while helping one person may not change the world, it can certainly change the world for that individual.
Well done, 4 Jade! The saying goes, "We will either find a way or make one." Your dedication to spreading awareness about this important issue is admirable.
Cyprus Forum 2022
The Cyprus Forum is an annual conference which is the largest policy-making conference in Cyprus. The Cyprus Forum brings together local and foreign political leaders, important public and private sector figures, the media, academia and civic society to initiate dialogue, exchange ideas and find new and creative solutions to key areas of public policy. This year the Forum's central theme was 'Inclusivity: Unleashing The Power Of Diversity.'
"The Cyprus Forum 2022 was a delightful and insightful experience of the inner workings of the world that made me think. It's a great experience and just not something that school would be able to teach you; I would recommend it to anyone who's interested in a wide variety of topics ranging from renewable energy to mortality."
Fivos Loucaides, Year 6, Former Global Perspectives student
"Attending the Cyprus Forum was incredibly educational and enjoyable as we got to hear the ideas and viewpoints of specialists on current issues. It was interesting to hear other perspectives and to learn more about topics that interest me."
Elay Sener, Year 5, Global Perspectives student
"I enjoyed Cyprus Forum; it was a great experience for me. I liked that each speaker provided their own opinion and brought different perspectives. I also enjoyed learning more about recreant topics and how they affect Cyprus. I especially enjoyed the talk about 'Mobilising Business and Finance against Modern Slavery' and 'Circular Economy."
Defne Oychoum, Year 5, Global Perspectives student
"The Cyprus Forum was an amazing experience where I learned and became more aware of certain topics through professionals. This has helped me educate myself more on global matters and has encouraged me to even look into these by myself. It was very enjoyable, and listening to contrasting views of professionals was very interesting."
Artemis Riga, Year 5, Global Perspectives student
Students were accompanied by Global Perspectives teacher Ms Luzdary Hammad-Stavrou and History teacher Ms Maria Constantinidou.
