What’s On
Senior Economics & Business Extension Society Annual Lecture
Energy: Crisis, Opportunities and Policy
The purpose of the event is twofold. Primarily we are taking the opportunity to help our students enrich their knowledge in current economic issues relating to the global energy crisis, which will enable them to stretch and challenge their views on areas covered in the Economics curriculum such as energy prices and their impact on macro and micro economic issues.
Additionally, through this event we aim to promote extra-curricular activities as a vital part of school life, which doesn’t only contribute in solidifying subject knowledge, but also aims to develop socially responsible citizens who aim to develop a better world for future generations, inspired by the success stories of our School’s graduates. As such, the speaker in this event is the Honourable Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, our dearest alumni H.E. Ms. Natasa Pilides
The Minister will deliver a presentation on the above and depending on time availability she will answer questions asked by the audience. The event is scheduled at 16.30 and is addressed to year 4,5, 6 and 7 Economics and Business students as well as parents who may be interested to participate.
Your attendance will honour our event and motivate our team in continuing the legacy of the department as a provider of high end education, in class and outside.
If you are interested to attend please complete the online form below.
Kind regards,

The Earth Matters
The students sang, acted, involved their audience with a trivia game and informed us about the recent news happening worldwide to protect the Earth.
Well done to 4B for their excellent presentation and acts in the assembly!
Odd Socks Day
They came to school wearing odd socks to show their support for anti-bullying and had a lot of fun too! Here are some pictures from Odd Socks Day.
Astronomy Club Trip
We went to Xyliatos dam, which is situated away from the light pollution of our big city. It was the peak of the Leonid meteor shower and although there were patches of cloud, we had the opportunity to see some shooting stars. We also observed the ring nebula, the andromeda galaxy, star clusters, binary stars and planets with our telescopes too!!!
It was pretty cold up there at night, but we will be going again soon, it was amazing!
Reach out
It doesn’t stop with young people. From teachers to parents and influencers to politicians, we all have a part to play. Reach out to someone you trust if you need to talk. Reach out to someone if you know they’re being bullied. Reach out by being the change you want to see.
It takes courage, but it can change lives.
Let’s come together and REACH OUT to stop bullying…
By Year 4 and 5 students 2022-2023.
Many thanks to Sky Drone Cyprus and Komis Komninos photography.
