On 17th March, The English School proudly participated in the Interschool Tennis Tournament held at The Masters Academy, Nicosia, with a team of four athletes: two boys and two girls.
Our girls’ team, Sophia Cagnetti and Vasiliki Pourgouridou, performed very well and showed great determination throughout the competition. Although they narrowly missed out on qualification for the semi-finals, they represented the school with excellent effort and sportsmanship.
Our boys’ team, Andreanos Kyriakides and Yiannis Leontis, had an outstanding run in the tournament, reaching the final after a series of strong performances. After a tough and competitive match, they secured second place and proudly brought home the silver medal.
All four athletes delivered excellent performances and made the school proud with their dedication, teamwork, and sporting spirit.
