We were delighted to host three students from Belgium, Marie De Schrijver, Florian De Lange, and Vin Bruneel, who completed their internships with the PE Department from 2–13 March 2026 as part of an ERASMUS+ project.
During their two-week placement, the students worked closely with our PE teachers, shadowing lessons, supporting activities, and leading a range of sports sessions. They also engaged with our students, sharing perspectives on the Belgian education system and learning more about The English School curriculum.
Throughout their time with us, our visitors developed valuable communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills while working alongside both our staff and external specialist coaches. The placement also gave them the opportunity to strengthen their coaching experience in a culturally diverse environment and gain meaningful experience for their own professional development.
We are very pleased to have been part of this exchange and look forward to the possibility of welcoming more students through similar programmes in the future.
