On 11 October 2025, two talented students from The English School — Nikolas Kekkou (2J) and Ersoy Kutoglu (3J) — proudly represented our community at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) National Competition, hosted at European University.
Competing in the Space Exploration challenge, Nikolas and Ersoy designed, built, and coded a robot to tackle real-world problems under pressure. Throughout the event they showcased exemplary problem-solving, programming, teamwork, and creative engineering skills.
Their dedication, curiosity and passion for innovation truly embody the ESPIRE spirit of learning and creativity. We are immensely proud of their achievement and look forward to seeing their ideas continue to grow.
