Key Stage 3 – Year 9 following UK Curriculum Group Structure
Students who have completed two years of secondary education (equivalent to UK Year 8) may apply for Midprogramme Entry into Year 3. Entry is competitive and subject to examination performance and availability of places.

Registrations
All students must be registered with The English School to sit the Mid-Programme Entrance Exam. Register your child, by completing our online registration form.
The Entrance Assessment
The Entrance Exams are held at The English School at the announced date.
Candidates sit three papers:
- Language Paper: Greek/English/Turkish – 1h 30 min
- Mathematics: in Greek/English / Turkish – 1h 30 min
- NVR: Shapes, instructions are explained in the respective language: 1 hour
Results, Offer & Acceptance
Mid-Programme Entry Availability
- Mid-Programme Entry into Years 2, 3, 4, and 6 is highly limited and depends on the availability of places within existing class lists. Each year, a small number of students may be offered admission, subject to space in the relevant year group and performance in the mid-programme entry exam.
- All candidates will also receive an email informing them of the outcome of their application, along with detailed instructions on how to accept or decline an offer (where applicable).
- Please note: The English School reserves the right to amend the number of students admitted at any stage, depending on internal capacity and educational needs.
