Andreanos Kyriakides, a young and talented tennis player, recently achieved a remarkable feat by winning two major tennis tournaments in Cyprus. 

The English School Roosters, consisting of Berzan Ozejder, Tianyu Qi, and Youksel Koch, have emerged victorious in the head-to-head style game challenge of the FIRST Tech Challenge. The competition was intense, and our students' engineering skills, innovative ideas, and tireless efforts paid off with a robot that excelled in the challenge.

 

On March 11th, our Senior Debate Team participated in the highly anticipated High School Mock Trial Semi-Finals and Finals, organized by Pascal Private English School Lemesos. This prestigious event was held in partnership with Frederick University Limassol and A.G. Erotocritou LLC Law firm.

 

The European Youth Parliament (EYP) Cyprus Pre-Selection Days were held on the 25th  and 26th February, 2023. 

We are thrilled to announce that one of our students, Guangmei He, in Year 6  has received a Special Commendation in the 2023 Northeastern University London Essay Competition. 

Love was certainly in the air this Valentine's Day as our Year 3 French students teamed up with Chain of Change to host a Bake Sale for a good cause. The students baked mouth-watering red treats and sweets at home, showcasing their talent and dedication to supporting the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

 

We are thrilled to announce that our students excelled at the 3rd chess tournament of the Cyprus Schools GP series held last Sunday (05/03) at the luxurious Golden Bay Hotel in Larnaca. The tournament attracted talented students from kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools all over Cyprus.

 

On Monday, March 6th, our Junior Girls’ Basketball team competed in the Nicosia Basketball Competition and won their third match against Archagelos gymnasium, securing their spot in the final four. 

The world of film scoring can seem mysterious and daunting to many music students, but a recent workshop led by film/tv/media composer and alumnus of our school, Mr Adonis Aletras, offered GCSE music students an opportunity to explore this exciting field.

The Houston Rockets Junior NBA team has achieved a major milestone by qualifying for the final four of the Cyprus Junior NBA Basketball Competition. 

Arts Week was a time for our students to showcase their creativity and talents, and this year's event did not disappoint. Among the many highlights of the week were the incredible musical performances put on by our students.

 

On the 2nd of February, our school had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Karantonis from Hellas Sat to give a presentation to our science honours students on geostationary satellites.
