Our students participated in this event, watching three films.  They discussed what they watched with the guest of professionals; our drama teacher, Ms Lena Kasiou, is one of the professionals. 

Following these discussions, the participants along with other 3100 young juniors from all over Europe cast their votes.  Our Y1 student, Lia Petrou, was the representative for the Cyprus Jury at the live award ceremony at the end of the event. 

The European Film Academy organized this and the Cyprus Film Days for Children and Youth by our very own alumnus film director Stavros Pamballis and his team.

What a great opportunity for young audiences to be a part of something so special and meaningful! Having important discussions, young voices and opinions being heard and seeing the world in different ways but also feeling part of that world and having an influence!
