On Friday, 6 March, The English School proudly participated in the 3on3 basketball tournament hosted by GC School, entering both a boys’ team and a girls’ team. It proved to be a highly successful and memorable event, as both teams delivered outstanding performances and secured first place in their respective categories.
This double triumph was especially exciting for the girls’ team, which was made up mostly of junior students. Their achievement is a wonderful reflection of their talent, determination, and team spirit, and it made the news of their victory even more special.
Both teams represented the school with great enthusiasm, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, making the school community extremely proud.
The members of the boys’ team were Dimitris Mannaris, Georgios Marnelos, Glafkos Constantinou, and Alexandros Veletinas.
The members of the girls’ team were Georgia Papapefkou, Nelia Charalambidou, Fenia Charalambidou, Katerina Aristidou, Yakinthi Koronaki, and Athina Demetriou.
