Outstanding Results at the Nicosia Schools Cross-Country Competition

Our athletes delivered an exceptional performance at this year’s Nicosia Schools Cross-Country Competition, where The English School entered a team in every category – and all four teams finished on the podium.

This fantastic achievement reflects the hard work, commitment, and team spirit of our students, as well as the dedication of their coaches.

Senior Boys – 1st Place (Team Champions)
The Senior Boys dominated their race, securing 1st place overall in the team event.

• Alexandros Emmanuel Christoforou – 20th place
• Antreas Katsambas – 31st place

Junior Girls – 1st Place

Our Junior Girls also claimed the top spot, winning 1st place in the team standings.

• Melina Loizou – 7th place
• Melina Antoniou – 15th place

Senior Girls – 2nd Place

The Senior Girls team ran a strong race, securing 2nd place overall.

The Junior Boys also reached the podium, finishing 2nd in the team competition.
