Join us on Friday, 10 October (19:30–21:30) in the Science Building for a World Space Week special: a student-friendly lecture, “How can I become an astronaut and live in space?”, followed by telescope observations of Saturn and the Moon. All welcome.
We’re celebrating World Space Week 2025 and this year’s theme, “Living in Space.” The English School Astronomy Club invites students, families, staff, and alumni to an evening of discovery on Friday, 10 October, from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Science Building.
Programme
19:30 – Lecture Theatre: How can I become an astronaut and live in space?
An accessible talk for students of all ages, covering study pathways, skills, and life in orbit.
20:00 – Telescope Observations: Saturn and the Moon (clear skies permitting).
Who can attend? Everyone in our school community—all welcome.
Where: Kypros Nicolaides Science Building, The English School.
When: Friday, 10 October 2025, 19:30–21:30.
Bring: Curiosity and a light jacket; telescopes will be set up outdoors.
