Cyprus School Chess Championship 2026
On 2 and 3 May 2026, students from our school proudly participated in the Cyprus School Chess Championship 2026, competing in both the Individuals tournament (2 May) and the Teams tournament (3 May). The event brought together talented young chess players from schools across Cyprus and lasted from the morning until late in the afternoon, providing students with a challenging and rewarding competitive experience.
Our school was represented by two teams. The Upper School Team (Years 4–7) consisted of Pavlos Chrysostomou, Andreas Kyriakides, Konstantinos Trigkas, Mikhail Kiselev, and Agkelos Prastitis. The Lower School Team (Years 1–3) included Alexandros Christodoulidis, Perseas Dicusari Elissaiou, Vasilis Vasiliou, Tolis Anninos, and Christophoros Anninos.
Both teams demonstrated excellent concentration, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the competition. Their efforts led to outstanding results, with our Upper School Team securing 3rd place overall and our Lower School Team achieving 6th place.
Several students also delivered exceptional performances in the individual championship. Pavlos Chrysostomou achieved an outstanding 1st place in the Upper School Individual Tournament, while in the Lower School category, Perseas Dicusari (5th) Elissaiou, Vasilis Vasiliou (7th) and Alexandros Christodoulidis delivered excellent performances.
We warmly congratulate all participants for representing our school with dedication and enthusiasm. Their achievements reflect not only their chess skills but also perseverance, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Well done to everyone involved!
Year 1 Students Take Part in King’s Baton Relay 2026
A group of Year 1 students took part in the King’s Baton Relay 2026, organised by the Cyprus Olympic Committee, as part of the lead-up to the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Through their participation, students were introduced to different sporting disciplines and enjoyed an active, engaging experience outside the classroom.
The Year 1 students had a very enjoyable day and represented the School with enthusiasm throughout the event.
