Each year, The English School proudly celebrates Founder’s Day in early November, honoring the vision and legacy of our founder. This special occasion unites our school community in reflection, celebration, and tradition.

We are beyond proud to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by one of our own – Stylianos Vasiliades! Competing in the World Schools’ Gymnasiade 2024 in Bahrain, Stylianos took on the world’s finest young gymnasts and emerged victorious with a silver medal in the rings event.

Our A-Level Biology students recently participated in an enriching field trip focused on exploring ecosystems and biodiversity in a natural setting. 

We are incredibly proud to announce that Alexandra Adamidou and Ireni Neophytou have been awarded the Highest Mark in the World for GCE Art & Design: Fine Art for the academic year 2024!

On Friday, 25th October, our Year 1 students embarked on a fantastic trip to Riverland that was filled with adventure, hands-on learning, and plenty of fun! The day began with a challenging nature walk, allowing students to explore the beautiful landscape and connect with the outdoors. 

We are delighted to invite you to a special presentation hosted by the French Institute on Thursday, November 21st, at 6:00 PM in our Lecture Theatre. This informative session will introduce you to some of the most prestigious business schools in France, providing insights into top-ranked institutions and exceptional academic programs.

We enthusiastically participated in World Space Week 2024, a United Nations-recognized global celebration of science and technology. To explore the applications of space technology, students engaged in interactive quizzes, thought-provoking discussions, and fun games during tutor time throughout the week of the 4th to 11th of October. 

We are incredibly proud to announce that The English School Nicosia students have achieved remarkable success at the Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards for May/June 2024.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Vrahimis Petri, a cherished figure in our school's history, who was laid to rest this past Sunday. Mr. Petri's legacy at The English School spans decades of dedicated service, from his early years as a student to his many years as an esteemed teacher, mentor, and leader.

On Friday, September 27th, the European Researchers' Night 2024 took place at the State Exhibition, marking the 18th year this exciting event has been organised in Cyprus by the Research and Innovation Foundation (IdEK). 

As part of the global celebration of World Space Week (October 4-10), the English School Astronomy Club is excited to invite you to a special Star Party on Friday, 11th October 2024. The event will take place from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Kypros Nicolaides Science Building.
