Join us in SB11 on 30th November at 4.15 pm for an interactive talk for students on Understanding the Universe – The Astrophysicist’s Toolkit by Dr Robert Ferdman, Associate Professor in Physics from UEA.

 

Rehearsals for our Community Choir start tonight. The performance will take place at the school during the Charity Christmas Village on December 19^th. Sing with us for a good cause, and of course for the joy of it. No previous experience in singing is required, just plenty of enthusiasm!

We are pleased to inform you that the educational trips outlined below will be available for students this academic year, 2022-23.

On Sunday, 13th November, our students attended the European Young Audience Awards.

Mr Etinosa Erevbenagie, the co-founder of the NGO "Generation for change CY" and Mr Orestis Papamiltiades spoke to our students about their organisation's mission and the current situation and needs of the Refugees. 

Over 300 students, staff and parents of our community observed the partial eclipse of the Sun on 25/10/2022 safely with the Astronomy Club equipment. 

We had the semifinals of the Year 1 Basketball Competition and the two strongest teams, Newham and Wolseley qualified for the Final. 

On Thursday, 3rd November 2022, The English School held its annual Founder's Day Prize Giving Ceremony to celebrate academic excellence among its students. The ceremony, which was held in honour of the school's founder, Canon Frank Darval Newham, recognized the outstanding achievements of 95 students in both the Lower School and Upper School.

The Inter-House Competitions continued with the Year 1 Basketball Tournament, where Kitchener and Wolseley won their matches, qualifying for the Final.
