On December 12th, our Junior Ambassadors participated in an enriching bonding event alongside students from Lefkara Gymnasium and a group of Turkish Cypriot students. This dynamic gathering was designed to foster collaboration and teamwork ahead of our upcoming trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on January 26th, 2024.
Our Students Shine at Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra Xmas Gala Concert
On the 16th of December 2024, students from The English School’s Music Department participated in the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra’s annual Xmas Gala Concert, held at the prestigious Strovolos Municipal Theatre. The event brought together talented young musicians from across the island for an unforgettable evening of festive music.

Outstanding Results in the Regional Mathematics Competitions
We are thrilled to announce the exceptional achievements of our students in the recent Regional Mathematics Competitions! A total of 31 students from The English School have progressed to the Nationals, marking a significant milestone for our school. Congratulations to Nayiri Mahdessian on Her Commendation in the Stephen Spender Prize!
We are thrilled to celebrate Nayiri Mahdessian of Year 3 Black for her commendation in the prestigious Stephen Spender Prize. Nayiri was recognized for her outstanding translation from French to English of the poignant poem "Mon Premier Souvenir" by Michael Vidon, which beautifully captures the unique and irreplaceable bond shared between a grandchild and their grandparents.
