We are delighted to announce that Ara Mahdessian has been chosen to represent Cyprus at the highly esteemed International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). 

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that two of our exceptional students, Giorgos Gavriil and Philippos Rouvas, have been selected to represent Cyprus at the 27th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO) 2023. This esteemed event will take place in Tirana, Albania, from 23 to 28 June 2023.

Our talented students have once again displayed their remarkable mathematical prowess and achieved outstanding results in the recent Mathematical Olympiad.   

We are pleased to announce that The English School is now accepting Mid-Programme Entry Applications for new students who wish to join our institution for the academic year 2023-24. This opportunity is available for students entering Years 2, 3, 4, and 6.

Giorgos Gavriel's passion for mathematics is contagious, and his speech serves as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring mathematicians Cypruswide. 

Christos Economides, a senior student at our school, has once again emerged as the champion of the Hellenic Schools Athletics Competition in Senior Boys 110m Hurdles. The competition took place on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, and saw Christos competing against other top athletes from across the country.

Our Junior Basketball team has just won the final match of the Pancyprian basketball competition against the Grammar school of Nicosia with a score of 44-41! 

On the 28th of April, the Pancyprian Athletics competitions took place in Limassol, and our Junior Girls' Athletics team participated with great enthusiasm and determination. We are proud to announce that our athletes achieved outstanding results in their respective events.

Our Junior Girls' Basketball team has emerged victorious in their recent games against Larnaca's Sports School and Paphos Sports School, with scores of 50-43 and 47-37, respectively. Their impressive performance secured them a spot in the finals of the Pancyprian basketball competition, which will take place on Friday, 5th May 2023.
