We are delighted to announce that our School has received a generous 7-year bursary (2022-23 to 2028-29) from Mr. Emilios Markou in memory of his late father Petros Markou
This bursary will provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies and a passion for learning.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Emilios for his generosity and support of our School and its students.

I am writing to share with you my decision to offer a bursary in memory of my late father Petros Markou.
My father was a proud alumnus of The English School, and his education there played a pivotal role in shaping the person he became. He went on to have a successful career and touch the lives of so many people in a positive way. He always spoke highly of the education and experiences he gained during his time at the School.
In his memory, I have decided to offer a bursary to current students of The English School. I believe that providing financial support to young people who are pursuing their education can make a lasting impact, just as my father's education did for him.
The bursary will be available to students who demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, and a commitment to community service. I hope that this bursary will help ease the financial burden for these students and allow them to fully focus on their studies.
I am honoured to give back to the School that played such a significant role in my father's life and to continue his legacy of making a positive impact on those around him.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my initiative.
