During their Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) class, our Year 4 students participated in an engaging revision study skill session.  The session was led by their Head of Year, Mr Panayiotis Kkailas.

The session aimed to provide the students with a range of study techniques that they can apply in their academic work. The students were introduced to various tools, such as mind maps, flashcards, and self-quizzing, which they can use to improve their retention and understanding of class material.

The study session was designed to create a collaborative and interactive learning environment, with the students encouraged to share their ideas and insights on the study techniques. Through this approach, the students could build upon their existing knowledge and gain new skills to support their academic progress.

Speaking about the session, Ms S Achilleos, the PSHCE teacher, said: "It was great to see the students so enthusiastic about the study techniques we shared with them. Our aim was to equip them with practical skills that they can apply in their everyday learning, and we believe we achieved that today. We hope the students will continue using these study techniques throughout their academic journey."

At The English School, we are committed to providing our students with a well-rounded education that develops not only their academic skills but also their personal, social, and emotional skills. We believe that the PSHCE class, and sessions like the revision study skill session, play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
