Year 1 Students Bring School to 8th Place in World Maths Day Competition
Our Year 1 students have made us proud by participating in the World Maths Day 2023 Competition, the largest online maths competition in the world.
This event sees millions of students aged 5 to 18 from around the globe compete in Live Mathletics challenges. We are thrilled to announce that our Year 1 students have secured 8th place in the world ranking, a truly outstanding achievement!
Our talented students - Maria Michael (1J), Emily Nicolaou (1J), Andreas Aristodemou (1J), Orestis Themistocleous (1J), Constantinos Kotsaftis (1J), Andreas Leon Photiades (1B), Georgios Lioudakis (1B), Awaan Khan Bali (1B), Sotiris Cleanthous (1W), Zilin Su (1G), Ioannis Lambrou (1J), Olympia Xenophontos (1B), Konstantinos Kalloniatis (1R), and Ioannis Kykkos Skordis (1G) - have showcased their incredible mathematical abilities on a global platform, bringing accolades to our school and themselves.
We are particularly proud of Georgios Lioudakis from 1B, who secured a spot in the top 100 students worldwide, ranking an impressive 66th place among all Year 1 students who participated.
The competition was a rigorous test of our students' mathematical skills and mental agility, and we are thrilled to see them rise to the challenge.
