Senior Athletes Achieve Impressive Results at Pancyprian Athletics Schools Competition
The results of the Pancyprian Athletics Schools Competition are in, and we are thrilled to announce the impressive achievements of our senior athletes.
Christos Economides secured the top spot in the Senior Boys 110 Hurdles, showcasing his exceptional athletic ability and dedication to the sport. Evangelos Petasis was not far behind, taking second place in the Senior Boys 200m race.
On the girls' side, Andrea Ioanna Georgiou displayed remarkable skill and talent, earning third place in the Senior Girls 200m race. Additionally, the Senior Girls 4x100m relay team - comprised of Artemis Spyridoula Riga, Andrea Ioanna Georgiou, Antonia Rodhia, and Ioanna Lees - secured third place in their event, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and camaraderie.
Artemis Spyridoula Riga continued to impress in the Senior Girls 100m Hurdles, finishing in fourth place. Georgios Vasilopoulos showcased his talent in the Senior Boys High Jump, taking fourth place in his event. Pavlos Achilleos also put forth an impressive effort, earning fourth place in the Senior Boys 800m race.
Chrysanthi Rokopou, representing the Senior Girls, put up a valiant effort in the 800m race, finishing in fifth place. Ektoras Menelaou and Nikolas Lees both demonstrated impressive skill in their respective events, finishing in sixth place in the Senior Boys Triple Jump and Pole Vault events, respectively.
