ESOBGA Team Wins 2nd Round of Salakian Trophy

On Saturday, the 18th of March, the second leg of the Salakian Trophy took place with the old boys and the young boys and girls going head to head in a match that was highly anticipated by both teams. 

With both teams eager to win and claim the title, the players gave their all in what turned out to be an exciting match.

After a tiring match, the ESOBGA team scored more goals and emerged as the winners of the Salakian Trophy. Both the young and old players, teachers and alumni who came to watch the match headed to the ESOBGA clubhouse to celebrate the win and present awards to the MVPs of both matches and the winning team.

This year's Salakian Trophy marked the revival of the tradition following the pandemic, and it was an event that was highly cherished by everyone who participated. It is a tradition that has been passed down through the years, and it is our obligation to keep it alive and honour the people who have contributed so much to our school.

Looking forward, we promise to do our best to repeat and improve the event next year. It is an opportunity to bring together alumni, teachers, and students to share in the love of the game and celebrate the Salakian Trophy tradition, and which has become a symbol of our school's rich history.
