Following the presentations to staff at the beginning of term by Ms. Anastasia Papadopoulou, a special advisor to the Ad hoc Ministerial Committee for the National Strategy against child sexual abuse and exploitation and child pornography and Dr. Eleni Karayianni, registered clinical psychologist working at the University of Cyprus, we had a series of workshops for Years 1, 3 and 4 led by the Organisation Hope for Children* covering the following topics: Prevention of violence in casual relationships between teenagers and The bag of the bullying victim. We are continuing our cooperation with the event for parents.
* Hope for children: a non-profit independent institution, registered in 2008 for the purpose of contributing to the promotion of the rights of the children and for supporting the active participation of youth in society.
