Open Mic Night, 24th February supported by 'The Phoenix'

Open to 4th - 7th formers.
Do you enjoy writing?  What about performing?  Open Mic Night will give you the chance to combine these two - it is a way to express yourself creatively through stories, poetry and comedy.

This event will include slam poetry, short stories (personal or fictional) and stand-up comedy.  Performances can be up to 5 minutes long.

Note: all work must be your own writing.

A selection process will occur on Sunday, 5th February, in the afternoon at the English Centre.  Between  8 to 10 acts will be selected. At the auditions you must perform what you are hoping to perform on the night, however, you do not need to know it by heart.
