Nicosia Athletics Competition: Athletes Shine and Qualify for Pancyprian
It was another great day at the Nicosia Athletics competitions, as talented athletes showcased their skills and determination in various events. The competition was fierce, but some athletes stood out and qualified for the upcoming Pancyprian.
In the Junior Boys category, Timothee Alkis Serrurier secured an impressive second place in the 300m Hurdles, while Nikolas Alexandrou Taliotis claimed fourth place in the same event. Christos Michael showcased his skills in the 100m Hurdles and secured the third position, while Constantinos Stavrou came fourth in the same event. Philippos Shiakallis and Leonidas Eleftherios Graves demonstrated their talent in Discus, securing the fifth and sixth positions, respectively. The Junior Boys Team also secured an impressive third place in the 4x100m Relay.
Sophia Nathanael was the star of the show as she claimed the first position in the 300m race, securing her qualification for the Pancyprian. Evangelia Rouvi also demonstrated an impressive performance in the 300m hurdles and qualified for the Pancyprian.
The Junior Girls' relay team secured the second position and earned their spot in the Pancyprian. Mavroudi Kyriaki put up a fantastic performance in the javelin, securing the second position and qualifying for the Pancyprian. Hajigeorghi Katerina also secured her qualification with her second position in Discus.
Georgiou Alexandra demonstrated her skills in the 80m hurdles and secured the third position, while Maria Christina Economidou came fourth in the same event. Panayides Anna and Demetriade Nefeli secured the fifth position in the 600m race and Javelin, respectively, earning their spot in the Pancyprian.
Evita Charalambous and Stavrides Katerina came fifth in the Discus and High Jump, respectively. At the same time, Vasiliou Elia and Matsi Kyveli secured the sixth and seventh positions in the shot put and 1000m race, respectively. Diaouri Nefeli and Kyprianou Maria Christina secured the eighth position in the 600m and 1000m race, respectively.
All the athletes showcased their immense talent and hard work. They displayed their passion for athletics and their determination to succeed.
