Who is Ms. Natasha Pilidou (English School Graduate, 1999), the new Deputy Minister of Shipping?

For the first time in Cyprus, a Deputy Minister of Shipping has been appointed.  The post was awarded to Ms. Natasha Pilidou.

Who is our new Deputy Minister?

Ms Natasha Pilidou is the General Manager of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Association (CIPA), responsible for the design and implementation of an organization's strategic plan in line with the country’s development goals.

She is an old girl of our school, having graduated in 1999. She continued her studies at Oxford University where she gained a bachelor's degree in French and Italian Literature. 

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Association of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
She has fifteen years of professional experience mainly in managerial positions and was Chief Regional Operating Officer for South East Europe for Baker Tilly for Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova.

In addition, she has worked for PWC in Cyprus, Milan and London, in the areas of auditing, tax and advisory services.  In London she also delivered training courses to ACA, ACCA and CIMA trainee auditors at the renowned BPP Vocational Training School. She has also given numerous lectures to promote Cyprus as an investment destination, as well as training seminars on audit, taxation and other issues.
