Junior Girls Basketball Team Wins Nicosia Competition and Qualifies for Pancyprian

On Monday, March 27th, 2023, our Junior Girls’ Basketball team emerged as the champions of the final four Nicosia Basketball Competition. The team performed fantastically, winning all the matches and securing their qualification for the Pancyprian basketball competition.

 

The Junior Girls' team also played against the Senior school and won with an impressive score of 37-60. The team showed great spirit, collaboration, and exceptional basketball skills, making us proud of their hard work and dedication.

We would like to congratulate the team for their excellent performance and urge them to continue their outstanding effort. The team comprised of Nathanael Sophia Lydia, Demetriade Artemis, Theophilide Penny, Koronaki Yakinthi, Kirmizis Eleni, Gavrielidou Ismini, Sophia Kapiri, Kypreou Paola, Veronica Demetriou, Moria Efrosyni, and Leandrou Maria.

The team was expertly guided by Coach Rafaella Neokleous and Andreas Sizopoulos. Their guidance and support helped the team hone their skills and work together to achieve success.
