Junior Girls' Basketball Team Triumphs at Pancyprian Competition

Our Junior Girls' Basketball team has emerged victorious in their recent games against Larnaca's Sports School and Paphos Sports School, with scores of 50-43 and 47-37, respectively. Their impressive performance secured them a spot in the finals of the Pancyprian basketball competition, which will take place on Friday, 5th May 2023.

Throughout the games, our team displayed exceptional basketball skills, demonstrating great spirit, collaboration, and teamwork. Led by Coach Rafaella Neokleous, along with Andreas Sizopoulos and Michalis Arvanitis, the girls played with determination and perseverance, never letting their opponents gain an advantage.

The team members, Nathanael Sophia Lydia, Demetriade Artemis, Theophilide Penny, Moria Efrosyni, Kirmizis Eleni, Koronaki Yakinthi, Sophia Kapiri, Kypreou Paola, Veronica Demetriou, Gavrielidou Ismini, and Leandrou Maria, have all played pivotal roles in their victories. Each member has contributed to the team's success with their unique strengths and talents, whether it be scoring points or defending against the opposition.

As they prepare for the finals, the team is determined to continue their winning streak and bring home the championship trophy. Their remarkable performance thus far is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and love for the sport.
