Fond Motion to Perform in Fengaros High 2025 Final

The English School student band reaches Cyprus’s top youth music stage

We are proud to announce that Fond Motion, a student rock band formed at The English School, has secured a place in the final of Fengaros High 2025, Cyprus’s most prestigious music competition for young talent.

The band is composed of five talented students:

Leonidas Georgovski Zarifis – Music Composition, Lyrics, Vocals, Electric Guitar

• Platonas Trapelides – Drums
• Stefanos Georgiou – Keyboard
• Christian Skriver – Electric Guitar
• Panayiotis Neocleous – Bass Guitar

Over the past five months, Fond Motion has participated in an intensive selection process that included an open call, live auditions, and professional mentoring sessions. Their original music and stage presence have earned them a coveted spot in the final round of the competition.

The final performance will take place on May 10th, and will be evaluated through a combined vote from the audience and an artistic committee. This is a significant achievement for the band, and a moment of pride for our entire school community.
