The English School Dominates Nicosia Basketball Schools Competition

Our basketball team emerged victorious in the Nicosia Basketball Schools Competition, finishing in 1st place. The final match against Engkomi Sports Schools was a thrilling experience for the team and their fans, as they won with a score of 45-39.

 

What's more impressive is that our School won all games in the final four and the entire tournament. This achievement is a testament to the players' great commitment, effort, and passion. The excellent performance of the team was evident in each game they played.

The members of our basketball team are a talented group of individuals, including Georgallis Anthony, Georgallis Constantinos, Giannakou Ioannis, Hadjikyriakos Sotiris, Kramvis Andreas, Nikolaides Theodosis, Poullikas Christian Leon, Savva Savvas, Serrirurier Thimothee Alkis, Xenophontos Charalambos, Velentinas Alexandros, Parikian Alexandros Raffi, Milinkovic Savvas, Heraclides Nikolas, and Herodotou Orestis.

Behind the team's success are coaches Andy Ioannou and Andreas Sizopoulos, who have been instrumental in honing the team's skills and strategies. Their guidance and support have been vital to the English School's victory in the competition.

Our basketball team has proven once again that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and teamwork. The team's triumph is a source of pride for the school and the whole English School community.
