COVID-19 Important Announcement (01st March 2021)
We would like to once again to confirm the latest instructions from the Ministries of Health and Education that were issued on Sunday afternoon (Feb 28th).
For this week (1st-5th March) Years 4-7 are strongly encouraged to take a rapid test (or PCR test) for COVID-19.
As of next week (8th March) and for every week onwards until further notice, all students will only be admitted to school having taken a rapid test with a negative result. Every student will need to produce evidence of a negative rapid test that has been taken within 7 days of arrival at school on the Monday morning. If evidence of a new negative test is not provided at the start of every week at the entrance to the school, your child will be required to return home and attend classes remotely via Teams until such time as a negative rapid/PCR test report is produced.
Please note also that a new date - March 16th - has now been set for students in Years 1-3 to return to school. The same requirement for a negative rapid/PCR test (as outlined above) will also apply to all students in Years 1-3 when they return. Thus, a new negative test result for every week must be provided at the start of every week.
Also, note that all members of staff (teaching and non-teaching) are required to supply evidence of a new negative COVID-19 test every week.
