Trailblazers organised by the Astronomy Club

“Do you want to find out about Comets, Cosmic Rays and Pulsars? Do you know about any of the great female astronomers? Have you ever wondered about how we know that the universe is made up of mainly hydrogen? Do you want to look at the stars, the moon and planets through a telescope?

Come and expand your horizons this Sunday at The English School Science Building.
 
This event will be based on women and girls in astronomy. This week, is UN Women In Science week, scientists all over the world are encouraged to promote their work and hold events highlighting the science that women have contributed to, as they are often bypassed by the mass media. It is part of the IAU (International Astronomical Union) events for this week.
