The English School Astronomy Club had the honour of attending a reception at the US Ambassador's residence on 23^rd May to meet Dr. Alex Lockwood from NASA.

Hearing about her work with NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and upcoming NASA missions was exciting. We also had the chance to chat with her on a one-to-one basis about her work and the future of the space industry, and she gave us feedback on our very own projects and experiments. During this special evening, we rubbed shoulders with ministers, scientists and space industry leaders. We feel very privileged to have been invited by US Ambassador Fisher to this special event and would like to thank the US embassy staff for this amazing opportunity.
