Sculpture and Installation - Theory and Practice Program for Year 5-7 Students Commences
We are thrilled to announce the start of our Sculpture and Installation - Theory and Practice Program for Year 5-6-7 students. This program is the result of a successful collaboration with Elpida Fragkeskidou, founder of Kuns Studio, and aims to enrich art theory and methodologies, particularly those concerning sculptural materials, installations, and sustainability.
The masterclass will focus on expanding the students' knowledge and technical skills through a philosophical, socio-ecological, and anthropological approach. Over the course of the program, students will explore the impact of material culture on the performativity of objects, their audience, cultural design, performance, and criticism, culminating in the creation of three-dimensional artworks.
The program includes personal projects, lectures, demonstrations, and feedback sessions to provide a supportive and creative environment for the students to develop and explore their personal narratives through art-making and discussions. This program is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their artistic skills, gain valuable insights into art theory, and express themselves through creative means.
The workshops will take place in the Art Room - N27 between 14:00 and 16:00 on the following dates:
• Monday 27.03.2023
• Monday 03.04.2023
• Monday 10.04.2023
• Monday 24.04.2023
• Monday 08.05.2023*
We invite all Year 5-7 students to participate in this exciting program. The workshops are an excellent opportunity to expand our students' knowledge and provide a platform for self-expression. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!
