We Care We Help News Update
This is a briefing of our latest money raising and charity activities.
The ESPA and the student council offered to We Care We Help club the amount of €500 raised from the Rock Night event which took place last May and we would like to thank them for their kind offer.
In addition, a parent, who would like to remain anonymous, offered a €100 voucher from Athienitis Supermarket on October 2015; this was used to cover basic food needs of a poor family in Nicosia. We take the opportunity to express our thanks to Maria Pericleous who helped with the buying of the food and the chairperson of ESSA Mr Stelios Theodosiou as well, who kindly offered all the drinks left from the ESSA lunch on 22nd of December to the above-mentioned family.
Furthermore, from the non-uniform day organised by the English School on Monday 14th of December 2015 the amount of €1718 was raised.
All the money will be used for the renovation of the children bedrooms of families in need which will take place this coming April of 2016.
