Congratulations to two of our students from the Design and Technology Club, for winning 3rd Prize (Joint) at this year's 'TEKE' Competition! We are so very proud!
Students from our Design and Technology Club took part in the ‘TEKE’ Competition this year (Διαγωνισμός «Τεχνολογία και Καινοτομία στην Εκπαίδευση – ΤΕΚΕ 2015 - 2016»), organised by the Research Promotion Foundation and the Ministry of Education. This involved researching into an area of their choice, creating a model to support their ideas and findings and presenting it to a team of Judges from both the Research Promotion Foundation and the Ministry of Education.
Congratulations to our students Christos Falas (2Y) and Andreas Nicolaou (1Y) for winning 3rd Prize (Joint) at this year's 'TEKE' Competition! They have created a sustainable charger, which is powered when shaken, using no other power source. Their work was presented to the judges of the competition in mid-May, at Dali High School.
An Award Ceremony was held on Tuesday, 7th June 2016 at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre by the Research Promotion Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The guests had the chance to view demonstrations of the winning entries as well as to ask the contestants questions about their products before and after the event.
