MEDI.M.UN 13th Annual Session

On February 9th-11th the 13th annual session of The English School Model United Nations will take place at The European University, Nicosia.

This year is our largest MEDI.M.UN conference ever with 34 schools participating from across Cyprus as well as schools travelling from Greece, Jordan, Israel and China.
 
Our opening ceremony will feature as guest of honour an old girl of the school, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Mrs Egly Pantelakis. The closing ceremony will be at midday on Sunday 11th February, where our guest speaker will be Major General Mohammed Humayan Kabir, Force Commander of UNFICYP. Throughout the weekend more than 500 students and teachers will be engaged in discussing current affairs issues and a number of other guests will be appearing for specialised lectures.
