The English School, Hall
Innovation, team-work and a lot of enthusiasm were the traits witnessed at a spectacular event held at our School Hall on the 13th December 2016.
On Tuesday, 13th December 2016 at 6pm in our School hall, we were delighted to meet our 13 Junior Achievement teams. They presented their companies and products.
During the break, our guests visited the amazing booths created by our teams to learn more about their companies, see their products up close and buy their products (and see the products up close).
After the event, our guests voted live for the best logo and presentation. Winners: ReChen (best presentation) and Multiplex Cyprus (best logo)
Our judges also asked questions and evaluated the teams on their answers. The scores were added and the winners were: 1st Place: GrowGreen, 2nd Place: QuickEat and 3rd Place: Trace
We would like to congratulate all our teams for their participation. We are very happy to see how our students embraced this challenge, with enthusiasm, excitement and they really generated some excellent results in a very short period of time, from the videos, presentations and their booths. They really did an amazing job! Further, we would like to thank our team mentors for helping and guiding them on this journey!
Feedback that came back to the teams will help them further prepare for the Cyprus National Competition.
We would like to thank our Sponsors: TELIA & PAVLA BBDO, AWG, Com2go Development, Foody, and RiseTech Media, our Supporters: English School Parents Association ESPA, , ESOBGA Cyprus and Swiss Cottage, , our Hosts: Last year’s winners The Tsai Project, our Judges: Mr. Alkis Simopoulos (Start-ups Mentor), Mr. Andreas Antoniou (ESOBGA Chair), Mr. Angelos Perdios (Financial Expert), Mr. Marios Anastasiou (ESPA Chair), Ms. Maro Polydorou (Head of Year 1), Mr. Yiannis Georgiou (Assistant Head) and Mr. Yiannos Papaioannou (Head of the PE Department).
Last but not least, we would like to thank all those behind the scenes, The English School Ground Operations Team and the Technology Club Students working cameras, lights and sound. Further, a very special thanks to Christos Loucaides for standing in, despite his existing responsibilities as one of the members of the JA teams, helping with the filming of the night.
