Traditional Blood Donation Event

On Friday 9th of December 2016, the English School organised the Traditional Blood Donation event, which has been taking place for more than 40 years.
The event started at 8.30am and ended at around 1.30pm.
Over 100 students, staff and a number of parents took part as donors. This year’s Blood Donation was held in memory of our student Philippos Potamos.
Our students have been participating with great enthusiasm in this programme, taking part in the very ambitious scheme of Cyprus which aims to cover all blood needs of the country on a voluntary basis.
The English School would like to thank the medical team from the General Hospital and also to applaud the Organizing Committee for their initiative.
