We are delighted to announce that our Junior NBA Team, the Houston Rockets, has qualified for the top 8 teams of the Cyprus Junior NBA Basketball Competition. This is a remarkable achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of our talented players and dedicated coaches.

We are thrilled to share the news of Stylianos Vasiliades Y4's impressive performance in the Pancyprian Schools Gymnastics Competition, which took place on Thursday, 16th February 2023.

 

We are proud to announce that our Senior Boys basketball team put up an incredible fight during Friday's match, ultimately finishing in second place. The team worked tirelessly throughout the game, displaying impressive teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship.

 

After three long years of no activity due to the pandemic, a long-standing tradition at our school has finally been revived. 

We are delighted to share with you the amazing achievements of our Year 5 students who shined bright during the Junior Achievement Innovation Camp held on Tuesday, 13th December. all of our teams did exceptionally well, making us extremely proud.

It was a day of celebration and fun as the school's wind band added their musical talents to the sports day festivities on Wednesday, 15th February 2023.

Hip Hop took centre stage during yesterday's Sports Day as a group of talented Y2 and Y3 students wowed the audience with an impressive routine that had everyone cheering for more. 

 

​Our Arts Week at The English School continues strong and we've already been treated to an incredible display of talent by our students.

On Monday, February 13th, our Junior Girls' Basketball team participated in the Nicosia Basketball Competition and secured a resounding victory against Ayios Vasilios gymnasium. The team played exceptionally well and won with a final score of 28-12.

Exciting News! Our Senior Boys' Basketball Team has made it to the Pancyprian Schools Basketball Final after winning the semifinals on February 14th, 2023. We are incredibly proud of our team's performance and couldn't be more excited for the final match on February 17th.
