Lecture on Immigration as part of the Yr2 Greek Literature curriculum

Our guest speaker Miss Thekla Demetriadou shared useful information with the 2nd Formers about the historical background of immigration and the conditions of Greek and Cypriot immigrants in the past, but at present, too.  

Moreover, as a representative of the Cyprus Ombudsman Office she presented the latest  dimensions of the phenomenon and the role of Cyprus in facing immigration as the host country.

The students had the opportunity to take answers on several interesting questions and made many positive comments on the lecture as they will be able to apply  the new knowledge not only for the Greek subject, but for many other subjects of their curriculum
