Once again members of The English School Astronomy Club, students, parents and guests braved the elements, rain, wind and cold to come to our Trailblazers event.
It was well worth it too! We were treated to excellent lectures by students on the topics of Comets, Women in Astronomy and Cosmic Rays. We continued our cooperation as a school with the International Astronomical Union and were treated to skies that were clear enough to observe our beautiful moon in good detail. The night ended with an ironic and entertaining presentation on the topic of flat Earth. We all left the event smiling.
