PSHCE Lesson - Breast and Testicular Awareness

As part of the Year 7 PSHCE course, the month of October was spent learning about breast, testicular and skin cancer and the importance of self-examination.  

A series of lessons were conducted in the classroom, coupled with lectures by two esteemed doctors, Dr Sophocleous, who discussed preventative measures for breast cancer and Dr  Mavromoustakis, who raised awareness of HPV.   

The students were then tasked with creating posters or leaflets to raise awareness on this topic.
